Electric Motor Rewinds

Through our workshop we are able to rewind AC & DC motors up to 3.5 tonnes in weight. We are an approved ATEX motor repairer.

Where possible we use manufacturer’s parts and all bearings used are of the highest quality. As a member of the AEMT we observe their code of business practice in all our activities.
 

New Electric Motors

A.E.R. Ltd stock CMG  motors up-to 90 kW on the shelf and are able to supply up to 400kW on a next day basis.

We are also able to supply other manufacturers such as Siemens, ABB, Brook Crompton, WEG, Marelli, TECO and many more on short lead times.

Pump & Fan Repairs

A.E.R. Ltd are able to repair and overhaul all types of Centrifugal, End suction, vertical multistage and Positive Displacement Pumps using manufacturer’s parts (depending on availability) and quality bearings. Likewise we can repair, overhaul and balance fans both in our workshop and on site.

New Pumps

A.E.R. Ltd are official Grundfos and ITT Lowara distributors.  We carry a large range of spare parts for immediate response. We are also suppliers of Wilo, Flygt, Caprari, ABS, Calpeda, DAB & many more.

Gearbox Repairs & Overhauls

We are capable of repairing most makes of industrial gearboxes.

In most case manufacturers original parts are used and all bearings used are of the highest quality.

New Gearboxes

A.E.R. Ltd are official distributors for Motovario, Bauer, and Stober geared units.  We are also able to supply Flender, Bonfilglioli, Rossi, SEW, David Brown, Reynold and many more.

Variable Speed Drives and Control Equipment

A.E.R. Ltd are official stockists of Hitachi Drives, Control Techniques, ABB, SSD (Eurotherm), Vacon, and Sprint DC Drives. Drives up to 160kW are available from manufacturers stock for same/next day delivery, whilst smaller drives are held in our stock for immediate delivery. We have DOL and S/D starters up to 45kW for immediate delivery.

Energy Saving & ECA

Our drives staff are able to survey various pump and fan applications, provide advice on modifications with conservative payback times and projected savings on running costs.  Advice on how ECA works & its bearing on Energy Savings is also available.

Site Work Electrical & Mechanical

All of our engineers are time served, where required we have 16^th edition electricians.  However, as a matter of course our engineers are competent in the disconnection of electric motors, their removal & subsequent refitting/alignment. For all work carried out we would supply a method statement & risk assessment (where required) as well as supplying our own tools and PPE.

Project Work

Using the experience of our own engineers and the resources of our many partners A.E.R. Ltd are able to carry  project work from design through to supply, installation and commissioning, ranging from booster pump sets through to specialist machinery with many motors and sophisticated controls.
