Background A.E.R. Limited was formed in 1977 as an electric
motor rewind company. It later amalgamated with
Ashford Electrical Sales to become A.E.R. Limited in
1987. In 2005 A.E.R. Ltd acquired the business
interests of First Rewinds.
Activities We are distributors and resellers for a large
number of major manufacturers across four main product
areas, namely electric motors, industrial and
commercial pumps, geared motors, and AC & DC drives.
Our customer base is UK wide with a growing
number of overseas customers. We have around 2,000
stock motors and pumps for next day delivery in UK,
supported by many more manufacturers UK stockholdings.
Services The company operates from a 3,500 sq ft industrial
unit just off the M20 in Ashford, Kent.
Our repair and service centre has a fully equipped
workshop which can accept machines for repair up to
3,500kg and services an area East of the M23 and South
of the river Thames. We are able to provide on site
services, for repair, maintenance and
installation/commissioning of motors, pumps and
drives.
Our Sales team are specialists in different product
areas and have the full technical support of all of
our manufacturers.
